Shopify Development Services for Merchants Who Trade at Volume

Store builds, Shopify Plus implementations, custom themes, private and public apps, replatforming from Magento or WooCommerce, and headless Hydrogen storefronts. One team that knows both the Liquid layer and the operations behind it, working across Pakistan and the GCC.

What We Build on Shopify

Nine areas of work, and most projects use several. A replatform brings theme development and migration together. A Plus rollout brings checkout extensibility, Functions and B2B. We scope the combination you need rather than selling a package.

Store Development

Complete builds from catalogue structure to launch: products, metafields, collections, payments, shipping rules, tax, notifications and staff training on the admin.

Shopify Plus Implementation

Plus rollouts covering checkout extensibility, Functions, B2B company accounts, expansion stores, Launchpad scheduling and Flow automation across the order lifecycle.

Theme Development

Custom Online Store 2.0 themes with section groups, JSON templates and metaobject-driven content, built for editor flexibility and audited against Core Web Vitals.

Custom App Development

Single-merchant and public apps using the Admin GraphQL API, App Bridge and Polaris, for workflows no listed app covers. Details on our app development page.

Platform Migration

Magento, WooCommerce, OpenCart and custom platforms moved to Shopify with catalogue, customers, order history and 301 redirect mapping verified row by row.

Store Customization

Targeted changes to an existing store: new templates, bundle logic, size guides, delivery estimators, filtered collections and checkout branding, without a full rebuild.

API and Third-Party Integration

ERP, POS, courier, payment gateway, WhatsApp, SMS and accounting systems connected through the Admin API and webhooks, with queues, retries and a visible failure log.

Headless with Hydrogen

React storefronts on Hydrogen deployed to Oxygen, using the Storefront API and Customer Account API for edge-rendered pages and multi-brand front ends.

Maintenance and Support

Retained development hours, app and theme updates, peak-season readiness checks, monitoring and an agreed response time when something breaks mid-campaign.

Working on Shopify Plus

Plus is where Shopify stops being a fixed product and becomes programmable. Checkout logic you could never touch on standard plans becomes a deployable Function. Wholesale runs natively instead of through a bolted-on portal. Sale events launch on a schedule instead of at midnight by hand. The technical work changes, and so does the way a merchandising team operates day to day.

Why Work With ProEcomTech

We are a Shopify Partner agency working with merchants across Pakistan and the Gulf, with 15 years in the industry, 250 or more projects delivered and 120 or more clients. Our developers hold Shopify certifications and we publish our own apps on the Shopify App Store, so we live inside the same APIs, review process and platform changes your store depends on. We know the local rails too: Raast P2M, Easypaisa, JazzCash, bank 3DS, COD workflows, FBR invoicing, and courier integrations with TCS, Leopards, M&P, PostEx and Trax.

How a Project Runs

  1. 1

Step 1 — DiscoveryWe map catalogue, order volume, integrations, team capability and commercial goals, then write a scope with the trade-offs and exclusions stated plainly.

  2. 2

Step 2 — ArchitectureData structure, theme approach, app selection, integration touchpoints and hosting decided and documented before development begins, so nothing gets rebuilt twice.

  3. 3

Step 3 — BuildTwo-week increments on a development store you can review continuously. Theme, apps and integrations progress in parallel with weekly demos.

  4. 4

Step 4 — Launch and SupportFull QA across payments, shipping and notifications, cutover in a low-traffic window, then monitored stabilisation and a thirty-day performance review.

Common Questions

Do we need Shopify Plus or will the standard plan do?

Standard Shopify handles most merchants well. Plus earns its cost when you need checkout logic, native B2B, multiple storefronts, higher API limits or scheduled sale automation. We model the difference against your volume rather than pushing the larger plan by default.

How long does a Shopify build take?

Six to ten weeks for a focused build on a licensed theme with standard integrations. Three to five months for a custom theme with ERP integration and a full platform migration. Catalogue readiness is usually what moves the date, not development.

Can you work with our existing developer or in-house team?

Yes. We commonly take the theme and integration work while an in-house team handles content and merchandising. We use Git with the Shopify GitHub integration, so branch-based collaboration and code review work the same way they would internally.

What happens to our SEO when we replatform?

We export every indexed URL before migration, map each to its Shopify equivalent, preserve metadata and structured data, then monitor Search Console coverage after cutover. Redirect mapping is the single biggest determinant of whether traffic holds.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes, through monthly retainers covering development hours, theme and app updates, monitoring, peak-season readiness and incident response. You keep full ownership of the store, code and accounts whether or not you retain us.
